SOCIAL STUDIES DEPARTMENT

1. Social Studies is meant to teach learners how to live together in the community in peace and harmony.
2. We teach learners to acquire skills, knowledge, values, and desired attitudes required to prepare them for living in a physical, social and economic environment as knowledgeable and participating citizens in the society.
3. We provide learners with skills for problem solving, conflict resolution and decision making in order to make them responsible citizens. We guide learners to integrate knowledge, skills and attitudes to cope with multiple perspective in the dynamic world and to address the contemporary conditions of real life.
4. All the above contribute the school's mission of "Producing God fearing Citizens who are ready to take up the challenges of Leadership in a modern Uganda".
